Kazuo Noguchi, Sr Manager R&D, Hitachi America Limited
Kazuo is a Senior Manager at Hitachi America, Ltd., R&D, as well as a Senior Researcher of Keio University, and Executive Director of INCS-CoE. He has been participating in a number of public-private partnerships, including the United Nations Open-ended Working Group (OEWG).
In 2016, He spearheaded the initiative of the International Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (INCS-CoE), organizing an international alliance with the U.S., British, and Japanese governments, companies, around universities in the world, while supporting an annual international cybersecurity symposium at Keio.
He is a seasoned strategy and management consultant with over 30 years of experience in the industry in the U.S., Canada, and Japan. In 2002, he joined Hitachi Group as Chief Consultant, initiating M&A and alliance strategies to the Hitachi board, focusing on financial institutions. Before joining Hitachi, he was a Manager at KPMG at the New York office. He received his MBA from the University of Toronto, a Master’s and a Bachelor’s in Management Science from Tokyo University of Science.
Rouven Floeter, Cyber Security Manager, Hitachi Energy
Rouven Floeter is the Lead of the Customer Cybersecurity Office and Quantum-Safe Specialist at Hitachi Energy, where he drives customer-focused cybersecurity initiatives and leads the company’s Quantum-Safe Strategy. With over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity, Rouven has held key leadership positions shaping the security of critical infrastructure worldwide.
As Global Product Manager Cybersecurity Solutions, he led the development of the first quantum-safe encryption solution for critical infrastructure, pioneering innovation in next-generation secure communications. Before joining Hitachi Energy, Rouven held senior roles at ABB and KEYMILE GmbH, and co-founded an IT security company, reflecting his lifelong dedication to cybersecurity excellence and innovation.

BJ Deonarain is a globally focused cybersecurity executive responsible for driving cybersecurity and cyber resiliency strategy at Hitachi Vantara. With a career spanning technical innovation, client solutions, and cross-functional leadership, BJ combines deep technical expertise with a client-centric approach to mitigate risk and elevate organizational security postures.
Before rejoining Hitachi Vantara in 2024, BJ spearheaded RSA’s Canadian cybersecurity pillar, overseeing technical operations, sales, and presales across all verticals. His leadership advanced threat detection capabilities through AI/UEBA modeling, detection rule development, and ecosystem optimization—significantly enhancing risk mitigation and client satisfaction nationwide.
Academically, BJ holds a Master of Mathematics (Fractal and Chaos Theory) and a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) from the University of Western Ontario, complemented by a BA in Qualitative Management from the University of the West Indies.
A Certified Architect Expert (SNIA/Hitachi Data Systems), he has received multiple awards for excellence in technical innovation, sales leadership, and solution delivery at Hitachi Vantara and RSA.
Born in Guyana and now based in Pickering, Ontario, BJ champions open communication and client-driven problem-solving. Outside work, he enjoys golf, cricket, open-wheel racing, and building custom woodworking projects. He lives with his wife Renee, daughter Sonam, and their black lab, Plagg.
