Richard M. Cane
,  Executive Vice President and President, International, SBA Communications Corporation
Mr. Cane has served as Executive Vice President and President, International, since 2023. He joined SBA in 2019 as Senior Vice President – International Operations, responsible for the oversight of all our Western Hemisphere operations outside of the United States. Before joining SBA, Mr. Cane was a Principal at Smart Aerial Solutions, where he advised municipalities and multiple start-ups to develop businesses related to 5G and mmW antenna communications, intelligent transport systems, wireline network transformations, fiber broadband and smart cities. Mr. Cane served in various senior roles at Ericsson, including as the Vice President of nationwide field services for North America and the Chief Operating Officer of Managed Services for Sprint. Mr. Cane also previously served as a senior executive for several wireless network operators, including Vice President of Account Management at Motorola/Nokia Siemens Networks, Chief Operating Officer for Woosh Wireless, a nationwide wireless broadband carrier in New Zealand, and Chief Technical Officer for Bell Atlantic International/Grupo Iussacell in Mexico. Mr. Cane holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology.

Ariel Rubin, Vice President Business Transformation, Vertical Bridge
Ariel Rubin is the Vice President Business Transformation at Vertical Bridge. A licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with over 24 years of experience in the engineering, design, and management of telecommunication projects, Ariel specializes in balancing financial decisions with delivery and engineering solutions.

Throughout his decade-long tenure at Vertical Bridge, Ariel has held senior leadership roles including Vice President of Integration and Vice President of Tower Development. Prior to joining Vertical Bridge, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Mexico Tower Partners and held various leadership positions at Morrison Hershfield, including Director of Site Development.

Ariel is a results-driven leader focused on creating workplace environments that facilitate team involvement and coordination across complex projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Paul Jesemann, Partner and CTO Telco+, NCS
As the CTO, Telco+, Paul is driving NCS’s value proposition and portfolio of assets helping Communication Service Providers to retain their competitive edge and relevance in the increasingly complex future telecommunications landscape. He is responsible for defining and designing the technology strategy and vision in the network domain, ensuring that Telco+ stays at the forefront of innovation and delivers world-class experiences to its clients and partners.

Paul’s career in telecommunication business spans over 25 years. Prior to his current role, Paul was the APAC CTO for Mavenir, where he provided technical direction and thought leadership on technology and business models transformation to customers in the region, leveraging capabilities around 5G, Open RAN and Core, AI/ML, IoT and VAS to help drive digitalization and shape business propositions based upon network cloudification and service innovation.

Previous roles included the APAC Network Transformation Lead for Cisco Mobility, Director of Sales Consulting EMEA with Oracle Communications, Regional VP of Sales Engineering for EMEA and APAC with Tekelec. He held further management positions in strategy, innovation management, business development, product management, R&D and consulting.

Paul holds a master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.

Yariv Geller, Co-Founder & CEO, vHive

Scott Bicheno, Editorial Director, Telecoms.com
