Dragos Gavrilut is the Vice President of Threat Research at Bitdefender, where he has been leading research and development teams for over 20 years. Throughout his career, Dragos has been instrumental in pioneering innovative cybersecurity technologies, providing intelligence to support global cybercrime investigations, and releasing free ransomware decryptors. His contributions have played a key role in establishing Bitdefender as a leading and trusted provider of cybersecurity solutions. Currently, Dragos and his team focus on developing machine learning algorithms for threat detection, event correlation, post-breach threat hunting, anomaly detection, and user analytics within the NTA, EPP, EDR, and XDR spaces. They are also experts in risk analytics, digital forensics, and IoT analysis.
